Speaking of the house or apartment that I want to move in, I have to demonstrate the wooden house in Bali, Indonesia. 6 weeks ago I travelled to Bali and spent 2 days in the wooden house in the local village instead of the seaside 5 star hotels, surprisingly. I felt really proud of my choice to be honest. In my opinion, the hotels around the whole world are almost the same. However, the Balinese wooden houses really leave me a very deep impression. The first sight I saw it, it astonished me a lot. The structure of the whole architecture is purely made of wood from the local rainforests but it is stable and antiseismic. Actually, it is a bungalow with a small gazebo, which is recognized as the traditional wooden house pattern in Bali. It is so big that 5 people can live in it without any problems. When you stay in the house, you won’t feel hot at all and it has a really special aroma of the trunks! My host even made a joke on me by saying that I was living in the tropical jungle. Moreover, there is a desirable and large backyard where people can grow vegetables and flowers. In the middle of the yard even lies a private bathtub. You don’t need to worry about your privacy when you take a bath in it and count the stars in the night. Lastly, the house has a knockdown system and is totally prefabricated, thus it can be shipped by the cargo freight! I wish I could buy one such wooden house and ask the salesman to send it to my hometown!
