Located in Tianjin China, the five-story library opened last month. It owns an awe-inspiring interior with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves boasting 1.2 million books. The interior is almost cave-like, a continuous bookshelf. The doom shape is meant to make best use of the space for reading, walking and even napping and the whole building is connected by public corridor underneath a glass canopy.
For those who are into reading, books are a “curl-up” kind of thing for them. A nice sit-down with snacks and drinks, wouldn’t it make sense reading in this “book-utopia”?
